Chinatown Tai Chi Center

Spotlight on:

I had already attained the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt in my study of Kenpo Karate and Kung Fu when I decided to study Tai chi chuan. I was awed while attending my first tai chi demonstration where I saw both empty hand forms and weapons forms being demonstrated. It has now been 20 years that I have been studying tai chi chuan and was fortunate to find a good teacher. Her own teacher is Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, who studied with a disciple of Yang Cheng Fu, who is considered the modern founder of Yang family tai chi chuan. I have opened my own school, but continue to practice and assist in teaching at Chinatown Tai Chi Center. I hope to pass on this art as I have learned it.
